asb law’s Finance Director, Nick Lakhani, featured in Legal Practice Management last week sharing details of asb law’s progress in its ongoing crusade to develop a better New Law business model.

Over the past three years, the firm has looked at every aspect of its practice to create new ways of working that put clients at the centre of legal service delivery.

The most recent and perhaps most ground-breaking change entails a move away from the billable hour and departmental financial reporting as key performance metrics. This focuses service delivery on tangible outcomes and value from the client’s perspective, instead of the more traditional model that is concerned with time spent.

We continue to refine operations, breaking through out-dated barriers that prevent efficient service delivery. We aim to collaborate with clients and other legal providers to create an improved business model for the legal sector.

asb law’s client-centric philosophy is driving growth through service efficiencies and has attracted like-minded clients eager to work differently and more effectively.
